Anusara Yoga is a celebration of life in all its beauty!
Anusara Yoga is a special form of Hatha Yoga that combines deep spiritual teachings with precise principles of alignment. It is characterized by its life-affirming principles of “Opening for Grace”. Anusara teachers weave an inspiring heart theme into each class, helping students connect their physical practice with a deep sense of self-respect, security, community, compassion and love.
Anusara’s philosophy teaches that a universal energy flows through everything. Through this practice, we seek the goodness within ourselves and others and express it with kindness and openness.
Anusara classes are designed to inspire and uplift, making yoga accessible to students of all levels. With the universal principles of alignement, you can practice with confidence and security, while cultivating awareness of your inner goodness.
Anusara encourages you to deepen your yoga journey, strengthen your connection to yourself, and express your unique creativity. It shows us that embracing grace and creating stability not only enriches our practice but also empowers us to approach life’s challenges with strength, kindness, and an open heart.
I appreciated her very much as an eloquent and experienced teacher, so much that I followed her to her then new studio outside of town. She taught me right from the beginning how to be „aligned“, as alignment is key for the Anusara Yoga practice. Engagement of the muscles and concentric spiraling lead to the right posture and protect the body during the practice. Letizzia gives a lot of importance to explaining how the anatomy of the body works. She is always eager to guide her students step by step with exercises culminating into the final pose. I feel that I can join any yoga class now because I built strength and I know how to protect my body from any injury. Letizzia, you are a great teacher!
Thank you 🙏🏼”
